長居海外，偶爾也要回去看看。要麽旅游觀光，要麽探親訪友。手機是現代人類的日常用品，離開手機很多事情都辦不了。更別説工作上、生意上的必要聯絡。海外手機回到中國大陸，開通國際漫游只是使用方式的一種。特點是資費相對昂貴。也有一些運營商的手機套餐本身就包括一定數量的國際漫游，這些套餐的國際漫游資費也就沒那麽昂貴。
爲什麽開通國際漫游只是一種方式，還有其他方式嗎？
答案是肯定的。那就是Wi-Fi Calling 。海外的很多手機運營商都是支持Wi-Fi Calling。
那麽Wi-Fi Calling中國大陸的運營商會支持嗎？這個問題沒有官方答案。因爲運營商不會告訴你。
經實地使用，從海外帶回去的手機，在中國移動和中國聯通的網路上，都可以使用Wi-Fi Calling。
去年，中國移動的網絡（包括手機網路和寬帶網路）不能使用Wi-Fi Calling。其實，也不是真的不能使用，你簡單改一個手機裏的參數，馬上就能用了。（如果你想知道，可以私信作者。）中國電信的網路也是類似情況。
在中國大陸使用Wi-Fi Calling，就跟在海外沒有什么區別，接聽和撥出電話都隨意，如同在海外時的日常。
如果你的手機是iPhone 系列，建議使用FaceTime語音/視頻和iMessage。因爲iPhone系列的FaceTime語音/視頻和iMessage都是端到端的加密，隱私性比Wi-Fi Caling和手機的國際漫游都要好很多，任何第三方都不知道通訊的具體内容。
Wi-Fi Caling和手機的國際漫游的畢竟都要以常規方式經過當地運營商的網路系統。

A mobile phone is a daily necessity for modern people and there are many things that cannot be done without it. Not to mention keeping in touch with work and business contacts. Overseas mobile phone back to China, open international roaming is just one way to use. The catch is the relatively high cost of the mobile phone. There are some operators whose mobile phone packages include a certain amount of international roaming, and the international roaming rates for these packages are not as expensive.
Why is international roaming only one way and what are the other ways?
The answer is yes. It's called Wi-Fi calling. Many overseas mobile operators support Wi-Fi Calling.
Does Wi-Fi Calling support Chinese operators? There is no official answer. Carriers won't tell you.
In the real world, phones brought back from overseas can use Wi-Fi Calling on both China Mobile and China Unicom networks.
Last year, China Mobile's network (including the mobile network and the broadband network) could not use Wi-Fi Calling; in fact, it is not really impossible to use, you can simply change a parameter in the mobile phone and you can use it right away. (If you want to know, send a private message to the author.) China Telecom's network is in a similar situation.
Using Wi-Fi Calling in mainland China is no different to calling overseas. You can make and receive calls as you wish, just like when you're abroad.
If you have an iPhone, we recommend that you use FaceTime voice/video and iMessage because FaceTime voice/video and iMessage on iPhone are encrypted end-to-end and are much more private than Wi-Fi calling or international roaming on your phone, and no third party will know the exact content of the communication. Wi-Fi calling and international roaming on mobile phones Wi-Fi calling and international roaming on mobile phones still have to go through the local operator's network system in the usual way.
(Mainland China residents can't use FaceTime voice because the feature has been removed from the iPhone range of licensed handsets sold in mainland China).
The above discussion only covers the needs of the average person. If you have a sensitive job, you can only take a whiteboard mobile phone back to China, but that's another story.
