After a long flight of about 9.5 hours on Alaska Airlines from New York, you arrive in Alaska. When you get off the plane, you are surprised to find that your mobile phone has no service. This is because you are using a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) service with a T-Mobile base station.
